Spring Cleaning for Your Mind and Body

There is something about the start of spring that makes us all want to clear out the old and start fresh for the season.  Spring cleaning isn't just about scrubbing the windows and organizing your closet.  This year add this wellness checklist to your spring to-do:

1.  Clear out your pantry of sugary, processed food.  Stock your fridge with fruits, veggies and lots of greens!

2.  Reset your sleep schedule.  Turning the clocks is a great opportunity to make sure you are getting a full 7-8 hours of sleep daily.

3.  Drink more water.  Fill your water bottle and keep chugging and/or swap your first cup of coffee for 8 ounces of water to start your day.

4.  Get outside.  Warmer temps are just the encouragement we need to take a walk, run or even just read a book outside and soak up some Vitamin D.

5.  Wear sunscreen and sunglasses.  Don't forget to protect your skin and eyes while soaking in those rays.

6.  Get a facial.  Exfoliate all of that dead winter skin and enjoy the glow of fresh new skin.

7.  Clean out your closet and treat yourself to a couple fresh new pieces for Spring.

8.  And most importantly, Strenghten, Stretch and Realign your body by getting cozy at the barre.......
